Regional Manager – Far East
Job Descriptions and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Regional Manager for our sales activities in the Far East region. The territory includes Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei, Taiwan, and South Korea.
As Regional Manager you will report directly to the General Manager of International Sales and will be responsible for overall regional sales, service and marketing support and the administration and technical operations of our Far East Representative Office. You are the key interface with our customers, dealers and representatives in the territory.
Specific responsibilities for this position include:
- Development of the annual budget of the Representative Office Far East
- Preparation of a long-term business, sales and marketing plan for the territory, identifying short and long-term goals
- The implementation of the approved plans
- Monitoring, maintaining and analysing sales plans and goals for each country in the territory and for each product group
- Monitoring, maintaining and analysing annual expense budgets for all activities, travel, trade shows, PR programs and other related activities
- Establishing and maintaining close contact to important customers and main accounts
- Providing necessary training to sales staff and dealers for all products
- hiring, motivating and training support, service and administrative staff, representatives and dealers as needed for all areas of the business

You are a highly motivated executive, have a degree in natural or economic sciences and are experienced in sales and management. Ideally you have specific market knowledge and already have corresponding customer contacts.
We are looking for an individual with strong management and communication skills who knows how to lead teams. The ideal candidate has a very good command of English, a good working knowledge of MS-Office programs and willingness to travel.
