Global Bioenergies is one of the very few companies worldwide that is developing processes to convert renewable resources into light hydrocarbons through fermentation.   Global Bioenergies was founded in October 2008 and is listed on the NYSE Alternext market in Paris (ALGBE). Currently, Global Bioenergies has two preliminary agreements on its isobutene process, one with an American major and one with a German car manufacturer. Further in June 2013, the Company announced the beginning of the first phase of the industrial piloting process of its isobutene process, in collaboration with Arkema which is supported by financing from the French State (&ldquoInvestissements d&rsquoAvenir&rdquo program). Global Bioenergies wishes to hire a Senior Purification Engineer for the isobutene industrialization effort at Fraunhofer&rsquos ChemicalBiotechnology Process facility at Leuna, Germany. The unit is a fully integrated demonstration plant and of such a scale as to support technology development and customer testing. The demonstration plant will be the key link in making future commercial technology licensing possible.   The candidate will have technical responsibility for the purification area of the demonstration plant, will provide input into the operation of the area, oversee the purification technology plan implementation and ensure the creation of high quality basic data documentation for the purification area.   Responsibilities
The candidate is responsible for purification technology development and implementation through startup and ongoing operation.   Responsibilities include:   1) Responsible for the technology in the purification area of the Leuna pilot plant.   2) Key liaison between the pilot plant and commercialization efforts in support of the purification             technology deployment and improvement.   3) Responsible for coordinating the purification process technology development occurring at Leuna     and other GBE pilot plant activities.   4) Responsible for creation of the purification area basic data report and supporting documentation   5) Support the commercialization licensing effort as requested by the business     Minimum Qualifications
1) B.S. Chemical Engineering   2) 515 years of experience in purification technologies like distillation, absorption and adsorption.   3) Experience in pilot plant commissioning, startup and operation.   4) Experience in the creation of basic data documentation.     Contact

The Company initially focused its efforts on the production of isobutene, one of the most important petrochemical building blocks that can be converted into fuels, plastics, organic glass and elastomers.
