Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Flandre Orientale Belgium.
This mid- sized family owned company is looking for a Technical Sales Manager to supplement their Food-ingredient division. This company is specialized in creating solutions, innovations and optimizations on customer demand as well as from its own initiative. This is all done in close cooperation with both existing and potential customers on an International level.
For this client we are looking for a International Technical Sales Manager. You will work in a B2B environment, with the focus on maintaining and building long- term relationships. As a Sales Manager food ingredients you are responsible for Belgium and The Netherlands. It is up to you to build- out relationships into partnerships. With your technical background and knowledge you are able to give technical support to clients on location (internationally). A good understanding of food production processes and sugars/chocolate / bakery applications is needed. You also know how to provide insight in this processes. As Sales Manager food ingredients you are responsible for your markets (Benelux/Europe). Based on your business plan you care for achieving sales objectives.
- You will be responsible for the Benelux / European market
- You will write you own business plan
- You are responsible for achieving the sales targets from this plan
- Responsible for maintaining a relevant network in the food ingredient industry
- Technical support on location
- New business development (international scope)
- You work in collaboration with R&D, Marketing and Supply Chain
- > 10 years experience in a similar role
- Master of Food technology or bio chemistry ( Must )
- Good communicator
- People manager
- Able to travel up to 60%
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- A perfect understanding of the food industry specialized in ingredients
