Site Supply Chain Manager

Our client is a professional Chemicals organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.

In order to achieve an undisturbed and efficient sales and production process the Site Supply Chain Manager coordinates the Supply Chain department from the monthly rolling forecast to the production lines capacity and material availability.

The Supply Chain Manager is accountable for the complete supply chain including procurement and transportation. Accountable for logistics (storage and expedition), customer service (sales support, pricing and complaint handling), production planning, rolling forecast, shipments and procurement. This person will provide leadership and coaching to the local teams and be part of the Site Management Team. The SCM reports to the Site Manager and has 4 direct- and 11 indirect reports.


-Accountable for the performance and results of the supply chain teams and responsible for departmental budgets.
-Takes ownership for the complete supply chain including monthly rolling forecast.
-Evaluates, recommends and implements inventory management and forecasting solutions.
-Develops and maintains relationships with customers in order to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
-Takes responsibility for managing customer requirements and achieving total customer satisfaction.
-Accountable for the day-to-day stock control and the reliability of stock levels on the database.
-Accountable for all customer service related issues; sales support, coordination of pricing procedures and complaint handling.
-Manage and coordinate procurement department.
-Manages all custom matters and incoterms.
-Produces the rolling forecasts and takes accountability for resources planning for Operations.
-Ensures full compliance and application of all legal, environmental, organizational and technical requirements.
-Responsible to find root cause and fix customer complaints related to his department.


-Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Economics or another related field
-Min. 7 years Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment with dynamic demand
-Excellent English language skills
-Proven Change Leader
-Continuous improvement mindset
-Advanced Supply- and Demand Planning knowledge
-Experience dealing with demanding customers
-Key competences: Vision, Leadership, Customer focus, Result orientation, Analytical capacity, Persuasion and Influence
