Our client is a professional Healthcare and Medical Devices organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.
They are a leading health technology company focused on improving people’s health and enabling better outcomes across the health continuum from healthy living and prevention, to diagnosis, treatment and home care.
You will be driving multiple new business initiatives, gathering marketing intelligence, guiding project teams, composing value propositions and creating business models to assess the feasibility of these new opportunities. The landscape of activities ranges from conceptual thinking and financial analyses through to deal making with strategic business partners and executing new business models. You will have the opportunity to act as a strategic entrepreneur within a professional, innovative and well reputed organization with virtually unlimited possibilities.
Working together with the senior management, you will develop innovative approaches and business intelligence on emerging industry trends, customer insights, competition and potential partnering opportunities. You ensure a fact based estimation of new business potential, pursue identified opportunities to build new businesses and activate your network to connect to external partners.
•Take the lead to create significant growth via Adjacency and Break Away business, leveraging the strong ability to capture value in the Benelux market
•Identification and strategic analysis of New Business Development opportunities for the Benelux Market, including telematics and managed ultrasound services with asset management and fleet management.
•Interact with a large variety of in- and external stakeholders, including the Business Groups, Business Innovation Units and Research and Innovation Services, as well as with 3rd Parties (start-ups / industry) to capture the opportunity on hand
•Guide strategic project teams
•Act as a strategic thought partner to the Sectors in the market: develop and implement the strategic business planning process and the management of future New Business Development undertaken by the market
•Support sector growth through in-house consulting projects: you will participate in strategy initiative(s) and other relevant business projects
•Drive inorganic growth through identifying and enabling M&A and strategic alliances
•Drive insight through market analytics: develop innovative approaches and business intelligence systems on emerging industry trends
•Master’s Degree (MBA preferred)
•Substantial experience in business development projects with emphasis on the strategic and financial analysis
•Creating and establishing new business models and value experience
•B2B and B2C experience
•Experienced in executing Market Intelligence, Strategic Analysis, Value Proposition House Testing, Business Model Development, Business Case Development, Financial Analysis and Partner/ M&A Target Selection
•Proven experience in leading small strategic project teams in complex organisations
•Experience with contractual negotiations and writing and managing strategic partnerships are preferred
•Dutch and English, French is preferred
