THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Flandre Orientale Belgium.

The company is a middle sized family company that has grown from 1 to 4 plants in Europe. After having rough years, the company is currently growing fast and is looking ways for developing. Change management and growth are the main focus at the plant of 30-40 fte.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The plant is middle-sized with 30-40 fte and is looking for different ways to grow and develop. The headquarters are located in the Netherlands and the plant manager is directly reporting to the COO.

Because the plant manager has end-responsibility at the only plant in Belgium, the client is looking for a senior Plant Manager who has had several years of experience in the food industry and experience in change management and stimulating and motivating growth. As a Plant Manager you play an important role in change management and the implementation of continuous improvement.

The Plant Manager is responsible for maintenance & engineering, production, hr and quality. The company attaches great value to a strong background in quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-HR, Maintenance, Engineering, Production, Quality & (Food) Safety
-Directly reporting to the COO
-Change management
-Implementation of Continuous Improvement
-Motivating/stimulating team

REQUIREMENTS

-Strong people-management skills
-Proven record of Continuous Improvement
-Minimum 10 years of management experience in a production environment in the food industry
-MSc Engineering, Food Technology or something similar
-Analytical skills
