Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Belgium.

Our client is an International food organisation which produces and markets innovative ingredients for the Food Industry. Our client is looking for a Technical Sales Manager who will be responsible for the Benelux market.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Technical Sales Manager we are looking for is a self- starter and has been working independently in a similar position. This dynamic role offers a lot of challenges and asks for a professional who can take his responsibility. Our client supports personal development, there are possibility’s for internal growth and education. The Technical Sales Manager we are looking for has relevant commercial experience in a B2B- ingredient environment, next to that he or she has a technical background in food engineering. Although the working field is the Benelux you will also be working on creating possibility’s in export markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Prepare the annual sales plan and translate this into concrete action plans.
-Seeking international opportunities for the export markets
-Convert client wishes and needs into innovative solutions
-Building and Maintaining long- term relationships with existing clients
-Technical support and creating solutions, with support of the internal R&D
-Purchasing Responsibility: price negotiations with several principals.
-Arranging trade fairs

REQUIREMENTS

-BSc. In Food Engineering or Micro Biology
-5> years of experience in a similar role working in the food ingredient market
-Extensive commercial experience within the Food BtB market
-Fluent in Dutch and English (preferably French)
