Our client is a professional Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
They focus on genomic, proteomic and cellular analysis supported by sample preparation, research reagents, intuitive detection platforms, and services to help customers better understand biological function and disease.
In this role you will be responsible for the portfolio within the south part of the Netherlands. You are responsible for the account and will take overall account responsibility and provide a single point of contact for accounts within the Netherlands for all customers in your territory. Your primary responsibility for these accounts will be to generate leads via cold calling, visits and follow up on leads across the portfolio and drive the business. The goal is to operate as a specialist to drive clear KPI´s to monitor the progress of your Business and accounts. You will negotiate prices and offers independently and or in close collaboration with the Key Account Manager and/or your direct manager.
You work pro-actively, have a positive mindset and take the lead. You are a real team player, with a proven track record in building trust and delegation within the team and to establish a pleasant working relationship with both internal and external customers and colleagues working in the same territory. We are looking for a candidate with a ‘can do’ attitude with ambition to develop him or herself.
The function is open for the south of The Netherlands. As a potential candidate you will work primarily from home (home office based). Hence a criteria is that you should currently live in the South of The Netherlands (close to or below the A12 highway).
- Scientific degree (BSc/ MSc) in Lab/Biology or equivalent field
- +- 4 years Sales experience
- Existing network in relevant industry segments (Molecular, Chemical, Immunology, IVD, Biology)
- Willing to be in the field at customers on average 4 days per week
- Planning and analytical Skills
- CRM experience is requiered
