We are currently looking for a

Director for Energy, Recovery & Environmental Services (f/m/d)

to lead our Energy Service Sales Organization in Northern Central and Eastern Europe (CEN region).

Your responsibilities:

This position is a senior role, requiring deep understanding – and passion – for the energy and process industry.

• You lead sales, and develop energy, recovery and environmental services business in the CEN region & report to the Vice President, Energy, Recovery and Environmental Services in EMEA.
• You pursue high customer satisfaction by developing solutions and agreements for our customer needs in service projects.
• You support our capital sales and act as a Key Account Manager for certain key customers in the area.
• Collaboration with our project execution teams is an important element of your work.
• You are in the key role of selecting our priorities in selling, steering and developing sales to meet our business targets.
• As a sales leader, it is your role to set clear targets, monitor performance and coach your team towards accountability and results. You will lead a cohesive team of sales, service and project management professionals in multiple countries in your region.

Your competencies:

Being technology-driven business, the role requires suitable educational background and strong subject matter expertise within energy, pulping, process and/or emission control technologies.

• Good understanding of energy, pulping and/or process industries and technologies
• Strong business acumen and experience in doing business in central and eastern Europe
• Experience in B-t-B contracts and good negotiation skills
• Analytical mind and good problem-solving skills
• Ability to think strategically to grasp business drivers, make plans and implement actions
• Ability to do financial planning and follow-up
• Demonstrated track record of leadership and coaching skills both in person and virtually
• Ability to network, build relationships and create trust
• Excellent communication skills, fluency in German and English, both written and oral, other languages are an asset
• Availability to travel across CEN regions
• M.Sc. / B.Sc. in energy, pulping, chemical or process engineering
