(Senior) Java Developer IoT Cloud Platform (f/m/d)

Role description:

We develop a completely new cloud platform from the scratch to digitize and connect the Testo measurement devices. Our goal is to develop software that works perfectly with our instru­ments to provide the customer with analysis capabilities and overviews for their business.
You have the chance to be part of this new journey right from the beginning. Your task will be to develop and design this system with the team. You will be part of the software development team and work with product managers and other stakeholders to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. Role description:

• You build it, you run it: We are responsible for our product from software design and implementation to On-Call
• Development of backend services in a cloud environment (AWS)
• You coordinate closely with the product owner and the team on backlog, acceptance criteria and user stories
• Active participation in all project phases using agile development methods
• You will also work closely with other agile teams, business and IT departments, and quality assurance

Your profile:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development projects with a focus on Java
• Experience with relevant techno­logies in the Java environment such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Junit
• Previous knowledge about AWS (e.g. ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB)
• Experience in working with relational databases (mySQL) as well as with NoSQL databases e.g. Cassandra
• Passion in the development as well as the design of cloud systems
• Experience setting up CI/CD with GitLab or Jenkins
• Enjoy teamwork and good english language skills
