Senior Director Senior Manager IT Thailand (m/w)


Our Client is a leading EMS service provider and a highly respected Public Limited Company founded in 1985. The company has since been providing total Electronics and Manufacturing solutions in Thailand with additional regional and global operations across South East Asia, Europe and USA.

Position und Aufgabenschwerpunkte:

Playing an integral role in defining the company’s vision and strategic direction, ensuring that IT is viewed as a creative partner in business success, instead of a supporter;

Defining and articulating a corresponding IT vision, formulating strategic goals and specific roadmaps, and leading all aspects of corporate IT development and future growth;

Driving policy and technical standards for how to develop the IT capability of the future contributing to data mobility, data security, data backup and recovery;

Building and managing a top-flight technology team partnering with business stakeholders, customers and IT Suppliers and partners;

Assessing and testing prospective IT solutions, initiating new product / services for competitive advantage, overseeing R&D activities;

Providing visible leadership for the company with the technology community in the following areas:
1. Innovation
Monitoring and assessing technology trends, anticipating and reacting to major technology changes to ensure the maintenance of company leadership in the competitive landscape;

Promoting game-changing innovations, identifying and developing capabilities to use new tools;

2. Business Intelligence
Analyzing and redesigning and / or optimizing business processes;
Identifying and exploiting corporate knowledge resources;
Enabling proactive, predictive business decision-making;

3. Infrastructure
Building and managing enterprise architecture and infrastructures;
Reshaping and managing enterprise’s physical infrastructure and network access;


BSc I computer Science, Engineering or relevant field +10 years of experience; or Master’s / MBA in Technology +7 years of experience;
Proven experience as a CIO or IT team leader, or in a comparable managerial role in operations or finance with clear experience in IT;
Technically proficient with all current and potential concepts of the IT industry including major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), database management and web and mobile application development and SAP
Excellent knowledge of IT Systems and infrastructure, background in designing or developing IT Systems and planning IT implementation;
Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
Organized, methodical, self-driven, self-motivated, and with exceptional problem solving analytical, communication business, and organizational skills.
Good strategic thinking skills, and willingness to drive aggressive and disruptive change;
Good business acumen and technology acumen, speaks the language of business and technology;
Excellent organizational and leadership skills, team building, motivating and inspiring people;
Strong English language skills, and the ability to lead a multicultural team
Comfortable in an environment of rapid change.
