Pre-Sales Engineer Position Available - MEGA North America
The Pre-Sales Engineer’s primary responsibility is to provide a solid knowledge of the company’s offerings and software capabilities to prospects. A technical background is required, and an ability to closely follow EA/BPA/GRC industry standards. A suitable candidate must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Additionally, the Pre-Sales Engineer must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the entire sales cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver software product demonstrations
- Present the product to customers/prospects and at field events such as conferences, etc.
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Communicate customer requirements to Product Management teams
- Travel
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a strong desire and ability to learn. Candidate must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFIs, etc. Candidate must be organized and analytical, with the ability to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
- 3-5+ years relevant experience in software pre-sales
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field is strongly preferred
- EA/BPA/GRC Market knowledge a plus
- Strong communication/presentation skills
